Our Privacy Policy

Hi there,

We took great effort to make our Privacy Policy readable and to the point, so you won't get lost in an overflow of paragraphs and legal terminology.

2. How are the data collected?

The data we collect include primarily name and mail address resulting from business communication with our shop. Name, mail address, postal address, telephone number, IP-address and/or browser type are collected through the registration- and order procedure on our webshop.

We collect these data with the purpose of sending newsletters, in order to keep you posted about new products, sales and/or special events. Postal addresses are used to be able to send the ordered products to our customers.

Cookies collect data regarding IP addresses and browsers used.

3. With whom do we share the personal data?

mon.MO (in the person of its owner, Virginie Pelckmans) receives and processes your personal data and shares them with no third party.
However, we use the store-connected email tool - MailChimp - with the sole purpose to integrate name and mail address of subscribed customers/visitors of our store in a mailing list, which is fully managed by mon.MO's Virginie Pelckmans.

4. How are the data protected?

The administration part of our site works with full password protection and is only accessible by authorized personnel (yours truly in this case!).
We never share any of the data with a third party, nor do we modify or delete any data on our own account.
Back-ups are regularly made to prevent data loss.

5. How long do we keep the data?

Data are kept for a maximum of 5 years.

6. What are the user's rights?

According to the GDPR, the following user's rights apply:

No, none of the data are processed outside Europe.

8. Are automated decision-making tools used?

We use the store-connected email tool MailChimp with the purpose to integrate name and mail address of subscribed customers/visitors of our store in a mailing list, which is fully managed by mon.MO's owner, Virginie Pelckmans.
MailChimp shows how many recipients of a mailing open the mail and how many clicks to the webshop are generated. These results are only used for analysis per mailing campaign by the owner of the webshop and are never disclosed to a third party.
